It was a historic moment for the UK, the Commonwealth and millions around the world who witnessed the coronation of the New British Monarch, King Charles the third.
The event is the first for many since it was last organised 70 years ago.
In Accra, the British High Commission organised a number of events to celebrate this historic moment and reflect the theme of the new era; Community, Diversity Sustainability and Youth.
On the coronation Day, the UK in Ghana community, partners of the FCDO, together with their friends and family gathered for a viewing party and picnic at the residence of the High Commissioner.
The High Commissioner also held a dinner with chiefs and traditional leaders to celebrate royalty in Ghana as well.
The High Commissioner’s government is also particular about the youth and has continuously supported many young people in Ghana in diverse ways.
There was also young leaders’ dinner which brought together youth to hear some of the remarkable stories of change and provide a platform for networking and collaboration.
