Gospel singer, Piesie Esther has picked the Best Gospel Artiste of the Year award at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Center (AICC).
Piesie Esther’s recent song titled “Way3 me yie” has been making waves, sweeping across all music platforms and winning the hearts of music lovers.
The gospel songstress, who was also gunning for the big award of the night – the “Artiste of the Year”, lost the award to the sensational musician, Black Sherif, who bagged the ultimate award to become one of the youngest musicians to take home such award.
However, congratulatory messages have been pouring in for Piesie Esther for becoming the gospel artiste of the year.
Her win is thought of by music enthusiasts to be well deserved as she was ticked to top the category.
