American rapper Future is facing a new paternity lawsuit filed by a former partner, Layla Sanad, who claims he is the father of her nine-year-old son.

According to court documents reported by TMZ, Sanad alleges the child was born in 2017 following a relationship with the rapper and is seeking official legal recognition of paternity as well as child support. Future, whose legal name is Nayvadius DeMun Cash, has reportedly challenged the case, asking for it to be heard in Arizona, where he says the child resides, and has acknowledged voluntary monthly support payments of $3,500.
