Real Madrid agree €103m deal with Dortmund to sign Jude Bellingham

Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham is set to join Real Madrid following the Spanish giants’ agreement to pay 103m euros for the youngster.

The English midfielder has been in outstanding form for the German outfit in the past seasons and emerged as a bright star for the Three Lions recently impressing at the 2022 World Cup.

Prior to the agreement Liverpool were in pole position to sign Bellingham but withdrew following the price tag placed on the player by Dortmund.

According to Dortmund, Real Madrid will pay 103m euros and add-ons which could move the total amount to a whopping 133.9m euros, making him the second most expensive signing of the Galacticos after Eden Hazard.

Bellingham will also become the second most expensive English signing, falling behind only Kylian Mbappe and Joao Felix as the most expensive teenagers in history.

Bellingham played 42 times for Dortmund this season contributing to 14 goals and registering seven assists which eventually won him the Bundesliga Player of The Season.

He flourished at Dortmund, and in October of last year, at the age of 19, he became the club’s youngest captain.
