Cristiano Ronaldo made his competitive debut for Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr on Sunday, helping them to a 1-0 league victory over Ettifaq.
Ronaldo joined the club last month on a contract that will reportedly pay him more than £177 million per year until 2025.
The Portugal star scored his first goals in a friendly against PSG on Thursday, and he was named to the starting lineup for Sunday. He led the line throughout the game, which was won by Brazilian midfielder Talisca.
Al Nassr are a point ahead of Al Hilal in the Saudi league.
Ronaldo was greeted by banners and cheers from his adoring fans at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh.
