Professor Ransford Gyampo, CEO of the Ghana Shippers Authority, has called for enhanced training of National Security personnel following recent controversial raids on offices and residences of individuals under investigation.
The academic and governance expert expressed concern that current operational methods damage President Mahama’s reputation as a measured leader.
Gyampo specifically referenced the recent raid on Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Limited (SML) by the Office of the Special Prosecutor, describing such operations as unprofessional.
While affirming support for anti-corruption efforts, he emphasized the need for security agencies to conduct investigations with greater decorum.
The comments come amid ongoing scrutiny of government accountability measures and their implementation under the current administration.
