The Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal, has urged hoteliers and restaurateurs to join forces and wage a relentless “war against poor customer service.”
Addressing the crème de la crème of the hospitality industry at the National Tourism Awards, held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), on Wednesday, November 29, the Minister minced no words in emphasising the critical role of exceptional customer service in propelling Ghana’s tourism sector to even greater heights.
” Hotel owners, Restaurant owners please wage a war on poor customers we have to work together to eradicate poor customer service…It is time for us to rise to the challenge and make Ghana the epitome of hospitality, where every guest feels welcomed, valued, and pampered from the moment they arrive until their departure.”
Dr Awal painted a vivid picture of a future where Ghana’s hospitality becomes a benchmark for excellence, attracting visitors from all corners of the globe.
