Ye, the artiste formerly known as Kanye West, has once again stirred up controversy with a series of incendiary posts on X (formerly Twitter).
In recent times, the rapper and designer has been making provocative statements, often pushing against societal norms and drawing widespread backlash.
One of his most infamous remarks, “Slavery was a choice,” deeply angered the Black community, and now, just hours ago, he took aim at comedian Dave Chappelle in a lengthy and heated post.
In the post, Ye accused Chappelle of seeking approval from Jewish people for his jokes and expressed resentment toward the comedian’s actions following Ye’s fallout with Adidas.
He also mocked Chappelle’s appearance, calling him “ugly” multiple times and implying that he harboured envy toward his success. The post ended on a particularly harsh note, with Ye saying, “And you gone die ugly.”
And I still found a good picture cause I love you nigga But this shit is not about emotion This is a war where you have to get your jokes approved by Jewish people But you don’t run your jokes past the king You banished you lanky ass dry Travis Scott lipped… pic.twitter.com/zuaMCMmSHf

It remains unclear whether this latest outburst is part of a calculated effort to promote his upcoming album Bully or another emotional outpouring.
