Ghanaian gospel singer Ohemaa Mercy has confirmed that sound engineer Kaywa wrote her hit song ‘Aseda’.
This revelation comes after many people doubted Kaywa’s claim that he wrote the song.
In an interview with Ghanaweekend, Ohemaa Mercy said that Kaywa is a talented songwriter and that he has written many songs for her, including ‘Aseda’.
“Yes, he did it..Kaywa wrote ‘Aseda’ for me. He has written many songs for me, including some of the ones I am about to release,” Ohemaa Mercy said.
The multiple-award-winning gospel musician expressed her gratitude for Kaywa’s work and her willingness to collaborate with him.
Kaywa, a renowned Ghanaian sound engineer , has worked with some of the continent’s biggest stars, such as Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy.
‘Aseda’ is one of Ohemaa Mercy’s most popular songs. She also won Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 23 “Gospel Song Of The Year” with her hit song ”Ote Me Mu” ft MOG music
