Legendary music producer Kaywa has called out his former artist Mr Drew, accusing him of being ungrateful and fake.
The feud began after Mr Drew posted an Instagram message thanking Kaywa for helping him to become the artist he is today. Mr Drew had just left Highly Spiritual Music, the record label that Kaywa founded and owns.
In his post, Mr Drew wrote: “An appreciation post to Papa @kaywabeatz and @highlyspiritualmusic for working with me to make an impact with my talent. I am most grateful for everything you have done for me as an artist and a son.
“Even though my time on the label has ended we are still family and I cherish that dearly.. God bless you 🫶🏾“
Kaywa was not impressed with Mr Drew’s message. He responded by accusing Mr Drew of being fake and ungrateful.
“Gratitude goes beyond an Instagram post. Your deeds must also show!!” Kaywa fired back.
Mr Drew has not responded to Kaywa’s comments.
