The 2023 Africa Armwrestling Championship will serve as a qualifier for the 13th African Games’ Armwrestling event.
The 12th Africa Armwrestling Championship, which will have over 300 pullers from 27 African countries in participation, comes off in June 2023 with the opening ceremony slated for Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) Hall.
Pullers who impress at the event and earn the qualification will compete at the 13th African Games, dubbed #Accra2023 which comes off next March.
During a Congress of the Armwrestling Federation of Africa (AFA) last year Cairo, Egypt, Ghana received a massive endorsement to become the host for the 12th edition of the Africa Armwrestling Championship a qualifying event for the 2023 Africa Games and the World Combat Games in Saudi Arabia.
