Ghana’s Women’s Premier league defending champions Apem Darkoa have arrived in San Pedro ahead of theor participation in the 3rd edition of the Champions League.
The Bono based team gained qualification to the biggest inter club women’s competition after winning the Ghana Women’s Premier League and the the Wafu Zone B championship against Delta Queens.
The Nanamma who are are making their debut at the tournament, are housed in group B alongside defending champions, the Association’s Sports of Forces Armed Royal Women (ASFAR Club) of Morocco, Equatorial Guinea’s Huracanes Fc and Association Sportive de Mandé of Mali.
The tournament will kick off Sunday, November 5, 2023 at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium at 5pm GMT between Atletico Abidjan and Sporting Casablanca.
Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa will start their journey in San Pedro on Monday November 6, 2023 against defending champions ASFAR.
They will contend with AS Mande on 9th November before playing their final group B game against Huracanes Fc.
