Former WAFA defender Kennedy Boateng overly impressed for CD Santa Clara as the Azoreans marshaled a 3-2 victory over visiting club Gil Vicente in Liga Portugal on Saturday afternoon.
Boateng, 26, was rated 7.8/10 as he paired perfectly well with Brazilian Ygor Nogueira in central defence.
Ygor netted the opening goal on the 23rd-minute mark before Adriano Firmino added the second 10 minutes later.
Matheus Babi added the 3rd through the penalty spot 6 minutes into the second-half as Clara coasted to a smooth lead.
However, the visitors scored two late goals to end the tie 3-2.
Boateng has scored twice in 26 games for Clara in the league this season.
