Ghanaian boxer, Freezy Macbones delivered a silencer to Nigerian’s Salami Oladimeji as he defeated him in the third round on Saturday, 23rd December, 2023 at the Bukom Arena in Accra.

Salami Oladimeji was slotted in as the new opponent of Freezy, following the withdrawal of Senegalese boxer, Seydou Konate. Seydou Konate was expected to face off with Freezy in what was to be a rematch after defeating Freezy in Senegal.

The fight began with some spark in the first round as Freezy dominated the bout by landing a good body punch on Salami Oladimeji who did everything possible to hold the Ghanaian from landing any accurate punches on him.

The bout became intense as Salami felt the pressure from his opponent in the third round receiving some heavy punches which found him on the wrong side of things, forcing the referee to step in and call off the fight.

Freezy Macbones untimely put Salami to a technical knockout (TKO) in the third round, making it the third victory in his professional boxing career and a first defeat in a middleweight professional boxing career for Salami.
