News of the sacking of as Head Coach of the Ghana national team, Black Stars has been received with open arms by many football fans in Ghana.

The decision was announced by the (GFA) on Tuesday, after Ghana failed to advance to the knockout stages of the .

Hughton, who was appointed in January 2022, was tasked with revitalizing the team after a disappointing World Cup campaign in Qatar. However, he was unable to lead the Black Stars to success, as they suffered a first-round exit in the AFCON.
