Famous Ghanaian rappers Guru and Captain Planet have taken to social media to mourn the death of multifaceted rapper OJ Blaq, who died on Thursday morning after battling kidney-related disease.
The 40-year-old rapper, whose real name was, was known for his hit songs such as “Chalewote”,
OJ Blaq’s death has sent shockwaves through the Ghanaian entertainment industry. Many celebrities have taken to social media to express their sorrow and pay tribute to the late rapper.
The most sorrowful tributes came from his fellow rappers Guru and Captain Planet. Guru, known for his monster hit “Lapaz Toyota” and currently promoting his 2023 single “Can’t Touch Me,” tweeted:
