Freedom Jacob Caesar aka Nana Kwame Bediako, the lady of the New Force, has vowed to abolish the practice of pay for play that is rampant in public sector employment.
Speaking at a recent campaign event, Cheddar said getting employment into the public sector in Ghana is so difficult and almost impossible because the process is fraught with discrimination.
According to him, three things make getting a job in the public sector difficult – tribal discrimination, political discrimination, and finally, the size of your pocket.
Cheddar said people looking for jobs in government often have to navigate all these barriers of being from the right tribe or right political affiliation, depending on the party in power.
And after all that, you also have to find a large sum of money to make it through.
Cheddar said if he comes into power, he would abolish all these barriers to gaining public sector employment in Ghana.
