The die is cast and the chickens have come home to roost.
As we say in local parlance, all the candidates have seen their ‘smoothness levels’ after the Electoral Commission officials announced the official results of the New Patriotic Party‘s (NPP) parliamentary primaries.
The elections were held in 104 constituencies in which the party has sitting Members of Parliament.
What remains to be seen is how the contenders unite to face the common opponent- the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The Bantama contest was won by the Incumbent, Francis Asenso-Boakye.
KT Hammond braced the odds to retain his candidacy.
The famous NPP stalwart, IC Quaye’s opposition to Henry Quartey‘s bid amounted to nothing as the delegates confirmed the latter as their candidate.
