Award-winning Ghanaian Afrobeats artist and rapper, Bashir Annan, popularly known in showbiz as Gambo has met with founder of Doggy Style Records and owner of Death Row Records, Snopp Dogg who is known in private life as Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.

The meeting took place in Los Angeles, California on the sidelines of the African pre-Grammy Awards Global Affairs event.

A global event originated by the CEO of All We Do Is Work, Mr. Terry Williams and presented by Godfather Entertainment with CEO Michael Harris the co-founder of Death Roll Records.

This is expected to expand his music career internationally by building valuable connections after he had earlier met with legendary American icons like, Jermaine Dupri, Timberland and Jim Jones.

The Afrobeats singer has been based in the United States for some weeks now and actively engaged in working on his first full studio album, following the successful release of his ‘New Era’ Extended Play (EP) which featured hit songs such as ‘Drip’, ‘Beautiful’ and ‘Settle’.

Gambo seized the opportunity to brief Snoop Dogg about his forthcoming projects including his upcoming album he has been working on.

Snoop Dogg in response was impressed by the hard work Gambo has been putting into his music career, encouraging the ‘Settle’ singer to keep pushing and going beyond the limits.

Meanwhile, the founder of Doggy Style Records and Owner of Death Row Records hinted that he will be visiting Ghana soon.

Snopp Dogg appears to be preparing ahead of his visit to Ghana.

In a short video circulating on X, the American rapper was heard saying a few Twi words including Akwaaba (welcome).
