Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Antwi says his outfit is ready to secure maximum points against Karela United in their Ghana Premier League opening game.
The 2024/25 domestic top-flight campaign will commence this weekend with an intriguing fixtures across the various centres.
The Porcupine Warriors will travel to face Karela United at the Naa Sheriga Sports Complex on Sunday.
Speaking ahead of their opener, the former Great Olympics midfielder reiterated his outfit desire to secure victory against Karela United.
“The mood in camp is very positive. I can assure our fans that we are ready to grab the three points on Sunday against Karela United and that’s what we are looking forward to.
“We really have quality players and everybody wants to play. Everybody is prepared to put up his best performance to secure maximum points and make our fans and coaches proud” he told the club’s media.
Kotoko are hoping for a strong season having settled for a sixth-place finish last season. As a result, they got rid of more than 20 players in a massive overhaul, bringing in 13 players which included Antwi.
