Head Coach of Legon Cities, Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has expressed displeasure about the two goals conceded in the game against Berekum Chelsea on Friday afternoon.
In what was a Week 28 encounter of the ongoing Ghana Premier League season, Legon Cities had to score late to secure a 3-2 win over the opponent.
Speaking to StarTimes after the match, Coach Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin explained that his team conceded two goals because players went to sleep at some point and conceded what he described as silly goals.
“They went asleep. I told them before the game that Berekum Chelsea is a very difficult side and therefore we shouldn’t take things for granted. But they went to sleep a little and we conceded those silly goals,” Coach Fabin bemoaned.
Despite also lamenting over several missed chances Coach Fabin after the game said he was satisfied his players eventually got the win to bag three crucial points.
”I think we could have scored more than 3. In the first half for example we squandered so many chances and we have been up by four or three in the first half. But a the same taking the three points is the most important thing at this time of the league so I’m okay with it,” the Legon Cities coach said.
