The chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Nhyiaeso Constituency of the Ashanti Region, George Kofo Adjei popularly known as Joe Kad, has died.
Joe Kad died following a short battle with illness.
His death was reported on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024.
According to reports, Joe Kad fell ill sometime last week and he was rushed to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) to receive treatment.
He spent the next week battling the ailment but eventually, he could not survive.
News of Joe Kadi’s death has sparked intense mourning amongst the NPP fraternity, particularly in the Ashanti Region.
