The Liberia national team have successfully touched down in Accra ahead of their clash with Ghana’s Black Stars on Tuesday.
The Lone Stars who arrived in the early hours of Monday are gearing up for the international friendly scheduled to kick off at the Accra Sports Stadium as both teams prepare for competitive matches in the future.
Liberia who have their final Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Morocco postponed will be squaring off with the Black Stars who on Thursday climbed from behind to beat the Central African Republic (CAR) 2-1 to secure their place in the 2023 AFCON to be hosted by Ivory Cost next year.
The match is part of Ghana’s preparations for the forthcoming 2023 AFCON and the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Attiogbe Komlan Attisso, a referee from Togo, has been chosen to oversee the match with his compatriots Adiwotso Komlan Domenyo and Ourotou Tsamola Wassiou set to assist him in the high-profile match.
The match will kick off at 16:00GMT.
